This book could be turned into a blockbuster movie!This could be the next Hoosiers, Friday Night Lights, or Remember the Titans. The teachings in The Twin Thieves would obviously set it apart from those story lines, but football is extremely popular and most movies don’t have a lifetime of wisdom at its core.I don’t know how Steve Jones pulled this off without being sophomoric. Have you ever seen “We Are Marshall”? I hope not. Hard to recreate the magic and authentic spontaneity of sports.As a coach of 40 years, I’m really hard on coaches who speak about mental toughness, culture, and leadership. Most motivational speakers and writers seem shallow and corny to me. Not Steve Jones.Steve Jones makes me think… and feel things.
